I've now been here for almost 2 weeks. I started class this last week and I find it to be more or less the same way I took classes back at Illinois, except less frequently. I have Fridays off currently, however that may change as I'm still having troubles with my schedule. I am now taking an International Politics course in place of my previous physics course that I couldn't take. Also I just noticed today that a psychology course that was supposed to be on my schedule isn't there, so I will need to get that figured out on Monday.
Today me and my buddy Don walked around the city center here in Leeds taking pictures for my lovely readers of this here blog. Hopefully I can figure out how to put the pictures on here so you can enjoy them as well.
This is the hall where I live. If you can see that small little window peeking out over the ledge at the bottom there, thats my room.
This building was called the Corn Exchange. We didn't go inside though.
Took the rest of these from the top of the bus we took home.
Pictures of crazy left side of the street driving.
Front steps to the University. This is the Parkinson Building.
Engineering Building
Hope you enjoyed. I'll update as more interesting things occur in my life.
Very cool pictures. Looks like you figured out how to upload and how to cut and paste or add text. Looking forward to seeing more.
ReplyDeleteYou are awesome.
Hey Josh,
ReplyDeleteIt was great to see the pictures and read about what is happening over there so far. It sounds really great except for all of the confusion about getting set up in the right classes. Is there any chance you could add a comment to at least some of the pictures so we could tell what they are. For example, what is the building that looked like some kind of shopping center with a curved glass ceiling that let natural sunlight come in? I will be interested to keep reading about is happening with you!
Love ya, Andrea
